Victoria Harbour views and a full engaged, highly effective employees make this truly one of the great hotels of the world.The JobReporting to the Director of Food and Beverage, the Assistant Director of Food & Beverage is a senior manager who works closely with the Director to ensure guests receive the highest level of food and service. This position requires a leader that has creativity, strategic and critical thinking skills, and able to multi-task in a fast paced environment. Responsibilities: - Select, train, evaluate, lead, motivate and coach employees and managers in multiple Food & Beverage operations to ensure that established cultural and core standards are met.- Control labor and operating expenses through effective scheduling, budgeting, purchasing decisions, and inventory control while focusing on creative revenue generation solutions to maximize profit.- Maintain visibility in the operation, recognize and maintain relationships with regular guests as well as cultivate relationships with new patrons.- Communicate with employees and managers to ensure operational needs are met as well as attend regular operational meetings for effective coordination and cooperation between departments. Requirements:- College Degree, preferably specializing in hotel/restaurant management- A minimum of 3 years direct experience in senior food & beverage leadership positions.
