MAJOR RESPONSIBILIES 职责概要:
The Loss prevention Manager shall be responsible in all matters pertaining to the providing administering and maintaining of adequate and effective security, develop and maintain a pro-active loss prevention program designed to ensure a safe and secure environment for hotel guests and associates.
防损部经理应全面负责酒店的各项安全事务,包括为酒店提供全方位的,高效的安全体系,并保持主动的危害预防体系和反应预案,以确保为宾客和员工提供一个安全的工作和居住环境。
The Loss prevention Manager will be required to conduct their duties in a courteous, safe and efficient manner, in according to hotel’s policies and procedures, ensuring that a high level of service is maintained.

SPECIFIC DUTIES 工作任务:
Risk Management危机处理
1. To Review all security measures, procedures, equipment and methods at least every month for protective and preventive purposes well as to maintain efficiently tight security control.

2. Watch for suspicious persons entering, exiting, or loitering around building.
对进出酒店,或在酒店区域闲逛的可疑人员,保持监视。
3. Conduct walk through observations of entire hotel.
对整个酒店区域进行巡视检查。
4. Promote safe work practices. Ensure compliance with Marriott standards and preventative measures.
推广安全操作规范,确保万豪的安全预防措施得以实施。
5. Maintain an ongoing relationship with police and relevant authorities.
与公安局及有关当局持续保持持续良好的关系。
6. Liaise with police and local authorities on matters of vice, gambling, drugs, abuse, theft, robbery, death, etc., and other special security measures and requirements needed for special events.
和当地公安,执法机构配合,共同应对赌博,毒品,欺诈,偷窃,抢劫,凶杀等危害安全的行为。并共同为酒店举行的特殊会议提供安全保障。
7. Advises management on measure to be taken against frauds, cheating and delinquent cases, etc.

8. Attend Safety & Security Committee meetings and enforce safety programs.

9. Develop, revise, and advise key personnel of emergency procedures.

10. Personally handles and investigates all serious cases of accidents, fire, theft, etc., including all correspondence relating to those losses and accidents.

11. Handles all cases relating to unruly behavior by guests and Associates as well as providing adequate services for crowd and traffic control.

12. Coordinate and monitor for efficiency safety and security related programs for overall hotel, including lost and found process, auditing of issuance of hotel keys, chemical, CPR, and Fire Preparedness training, evacuation drills, etc.

13. Assumes all responsibilities for all aspects of fire drills within the hotel including the training of staffs.

Guest Satisfaction 宾客满意度
1. Ensure that maximum security protection is given to the life and person of the hotel’s guests.

2. Ensure all guests are being treated in an efficient and courteous manner that all Starwood standards are being applied.

3. Assist guest at hotel public areas whenever require.

4. Resolve customer complaints as appropriate to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and quality.

5. Report on a regular basis to the DOR.
负责定期向房务总监汇报部门的运作状况。
6. Provide support of a specialist nature to the Executive Committee, but in particular to the EAM & FOM.

7. Provide other duties and services as assigned by the RDM.

Associate Satisfaction员工满意度
1. Ensure that maximum security protection is given to the life and person of the associates.

2. Ensure the timely completion of performance appraisals.
确保员工评估按时完成。
3. Give direction and be responsible for the implementation of plans.
负责监督和执行相关的计划。
4. Monitor plans effectiveness and introduce changes in response to the marketplace, including setting targets, planning and scheduling work and performance indicators that are typically productivity and efficiency measures.

5. Operate the department within Starwood policies as they relate to the ethical codes, standards of good business practice and local laws and regulations.

6. Work with staff on all “special events” programs within the hotel.
和员工紧密协作,共同应对各种事件。
7. To conduct daily briefing and periodically associate meeting.

Quality Assurance 质量保证
1. Review daily reports from security associates, issuing necessary orders to counter-act unsatisfactory or irregular situations and conditions.
每天审查前一天的安全部报告,对有安全隐患的地方做出立即整改的要求。
2. Coordinate “walk through” of hotel with Loss prevention staff as needed for inspection purposes.
规定防损部对酒店大楼的巡逻,以起到时刻监控的目的。
3. Represent the hotel and attends meetings of the police / hotel Security Liaison Committee in discussing common problems and practices.
代表酒店方出席当地公安/酒店安全联络会,以起到讨论发生的事件,互换信息的目的。
4. Liaise regularly with the security contractor.
定期和安全设备的供应商联系。
Training and Development 培训和发展
1. Manage the training and development of associates with an eye toward maximum associate’s satisfaction, productivity and guest satisfaction.
积极推动部门员工的培训和个人发展计划,以争取最大的员工满意度,产出和宾客满意度。
2. Responsible for the selection, training and development of the associates.
负责选拔,培训和为员工提供个人发展的机会。
3. Be well versed and knowledgeable of “Brand” Fire and Evacuation procedures as well as health and safety requirements in the Workplace. Ensure Associates are aware of their duty of care as determined by legislation and that they maintain complete familiarity.

4. Uphold the Starwood Cares culture by demonstrating the Star Service Standards at all times to guests and fellow associates.

5. Personally ensure compliance with all relevant Workplace Health & Safety and Occupational Health & Safety legislation, and related “Brand” and Starwood Policies.

6. Ensure all trainings are carried out as plan.
确保所制定的培训计划得以贯彻实施。
7. Monitor staff activity and coach subordinate performance.

8. To provide training, instructing and guiding all Loss prevention Associate regularly in that such associate may carry out or discharge their duties efficiently all time.

9. Arrange regular First Aid courses for Loss prevention associates.
为所有防损员安排紧急救护培训。
10. Administer the employment and termination of all Loss prevention department personnel.

11. Abide by the Hotel’s Policies and Procedures, the hotel’s Associate Handbook, and Starwood Business Code of Conduct at all time.
