As the Director Hilton Garden Inn ( HGI) Development in Greater China & Mongolia ( GCM), this position will support the overall growth strategy in the region in its efforts to originate leads for new hotel projects, evaluate opportunities that fit with the strategy and objectives of the business, negotiate agreements, specifically for the HGI brand. While working with closely with key stakeholders across the business, the role holder will play a key role in closing deals across the region. Responsibilities Director HGI Development Greater China & Mongolia, will include but are not limited to the following: • Work with VP, HGI Development GCM to formulate and evaluate the development strategy in GCM to ensure we are accelerating NUG with deals that are high in strategic importance and NPV. • Work closely with VP, HGI Development China to deliver all special projects, reports, strategy and planning. • Grow relationships with existing and new key owners, important players in the Hotel and Real Estate Industry (consultants, asset managers, hotel operators, architects, interior designers, counsels, investors, bankers and real estate brokers, amongst others) and local decision-making authorities in order to generate leads which conform to agreed strategies and standards in order to identify development opportunities for growth. • Work with internal and external advisors to execute deals in line with agreed priorities, Hilton standards and in conformity with corporate approvals. Negotiations should be conducted with the objective of securing integrative gains. • Formulate and deploy a diverse network of contacts and contribute to building our capability in assembling and evaluating quality market intelligence in all of its forms to identify opportunities and aid decision making on whether opportunities should be pursued. • Reviewing markets to identify previously unknown opportunities, researching the activity of real estate developers with whom we currently have no point of relationship, or researching the activity of our competitors (whilst adhering to Corporate Policy) to identify future opportunities that we may legitimately pursue. • Ensure that the deal is seen right through to the finishing line by seeing the hotel successfully open and trading. • Lead team to achieve its target with motivating team members, giving them necessary training and guidance as well as build a right culture to maintain talents fundamentally. • Actively participate in industry conferences, events and other activities to build a strong network to assist with HGI’s growth • Work with all required internal stakeholders to ensure that all internal deal procedures and protocols are adhered to and all legislative requirements are met, partnering with the Legal team where necessary, thus ensuring that the reputation of Hilton is protected and we operate legally and ethically at all times. • Create required documentation and present deals to VP HGI Development GCM and Hilton Investment Committee for approval. • Manage, coordinate, and in some aspects provide, Hilton’s post-signing development and review services (design, governing documents, operations, marketing, and sales). Provide expertise to internal teams carrying out these services. • Ensure compliance with brand standards of HGI is met and achieve the strategic positioning of the property. Perform admiration duties such as: • Management and retention of project documentation • Maintain accurate and up to date project information in relative database • Coordinate effectively with the Feasibility & Investment Analysis Team • Draft concise, accurate and balanced Development Authorities • Ensure a crisp and concise handover of projects to Technical Services and Operations • Work effectively with Finance and Compliance to complete due diligence in line with policy and best practice. • Assist with evaluating the industry landscape and creation of standards to ensure Hilton remains an industry leader offering a world-class HGI product. As the Senior Manager, Safety and Security - North China Region, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards: -Support the allocated group of hotels within a region in respect of occupational health & safety, food safety, fire safety, security, crisis management, trading standards, public health, housing (where applicable) and disability compliance. The role involves the provision of advice and support for the protection of the company’s owned and managed assets and to ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements and company policies related to all safety and security disciplines. The role requires a risk based approach in terms of allocation of resources whether this be through specialist training, general operational support, auditing, accident investigation and involvement with local enforcement officials on statutory routine inspections. Analytical responsibilities come from review of statistical accident and claims data to allocate resources for high risk areas at each hotel. The role also includes project work as directed by the Regional Director of Safety & Security or Senior Director of Safety & Security. All projects relate to improving the safety and security services provided to the Hilton Worldwide portfolio of hotels Planning Activities 25% -Evaluates the effectiveness of claims management activities at the hotel level to minimize direct or indirect costs to hotels. -Develop Staretegy and Support Pre Opening Hotels and Implementation Safety & Security Standards -Develop Staretegy and Support Trading Hotels -Establishes and revises procedures, policies and processes to include new or modified regulatory requirements. -Drive Safety & Security Programs for Greater China -Facilitate Safety & Security Workshop Organizing Activities 25% -Assess and oversees investigations at corporate and owned and managed properties. Assigns safety/security managers and supervises accordingly. -Provides technical advice and project management services (CCTV, locks, access control, fire safety, asset protection) for system improvements, upgrades and new build projects. -Coordinates special projects as directed by Director Safety & Security Asia Pacific and maintained -Assists hotels with security issues and threats -Crisis Coordinator for Greater China Directing Activities 35% -Manages hotel audit programme at agreed frequencies with appropriate follow-up reports, benchmarking and recommendations to the Director Safety & Security Asia Pacific, hotel GMs and Operations Vice President for assigned hotels. -Directs the development and administration of Risk Management for Greater China. -Liaises with enforcement authorities on company issues. -Directs health and safety, fire risk assessments (as applicable) in studies of selected locations and HACCP reviews as required. -Oversees the implementation and use of the Safety & Security Profile/audit tool for hotels. -Manages effective partnerships with Legal, Architecture and Construction, Technical Services, Brand Management, Human Resources, Hotel Operations, Risk Management and lead authorities. Controlling Activities 15% -Implements safety and security programmes, projects, policies, procedures, and related statutory fire safety, health and safety and food safety training for assigned hotels. -Ensures legal compliance with safety & security related requirements including fire safety, occupational health and safety, food safety, housing and trading standards. -Maintains up to date knowledge of new or revised legislation as appropriate and current guidance and to ensure procedural and training documents are updated from the relevant authorities. -Assesses the need for investigations at corporate owned and managed properties. -Assesses actual performance against standards to determine whether the department is on target to reach its goals and takes corrective actions as necessary. -Assists in prosecution efforts resulting from investigations. -Establishes and enforces policies and procedures that will improve the overall operation and effectiveness of the Company. -Works within established departmental budget. -Reviews and makes appropriate adjustments in activities and expenses throughout the fiscal year to ensure optimal financial results. As the Senior Manager Hilton Garden Inn (HGI) Development in China, this position will support the overall growth strategy in the region in its efforts to originate leads for new hotel projects. Responsible for collecting data for, preparing and submitting owner applications. Prepares committee documents for all deals that need a further level of approval. Responsibilities Senior Manager Hilton Garden Inn (HGI) Development Greater China & Mongolia(GCM), will include but are not limited to the following: • Evaluates and identifies business opportunities for further expansion of the HGI brand and directs accordingly. • Assists in the strategic planning, development and coordination of the region’s sales activities to advance Company goals, while communicating key messages to internal and external stakeholders. • Build solid network in the industry to support HGI’s growth in China • Conducts market specific research and compiles reports for the team, provide practical best practices to assist with team’s performance. • Perform reporting work, follow up on ads and keep organized records of all market visits, meetings, competitive analysis, etc. • Uses the Business Intelligence tools to research markets and potential opportunities or restrictions for development. • Designs and prepares departmental reports and presentations (i.e. charts, graphs, tables, business plans). • Works with key stakeholders and departments within the Global Architecture, Design, and Regional Operations to ensure the objectives are accomplished. • Organizes meetings and events with external stakeholders to increase awareness of Hilton’s positioning in the market. • Works to expand our relationship and footprint with existing owners in the system and closes individual franchise and management agreements in adherence with corporate budget. • Increases network of potential new owners. • Works with other team members as instructed within the region assisting with volume of requests to accomplish department goals. • Completes special projects as required. • Represent and attend local industry events. 【任职要求】 What are we looking for?     岗位职责 1.在酒店指导方针指引下,协助总经理规划年度预算,制定市场战略销售计划。  Plans and develops annual budget, marketing strategies and promotion plans with General Manager based on hotel and corporate guidelines. 2. 检验及评估市场走势,确保市场策略优先的实施。    Monitor and evaluates competitive set performance, market trend and implement marketing strategies initiatives. 3.熟知销售系统并具有良好的沟通能力。 Fully versed in Sales System with high level of interpersonal skills. 4.处理与客人的关系和提供所需服务,包括客户和客人的需求,酒店产品知识销售效率,沟通能力及各类反馈。 Manages guest relations and client services including guest and client need, product and service knowledge, sales effectiveness, communication skills and guest and client feedback. 5.在预测及预算方面有较强的财务能力。 Strong financial acumen in forecasting, budgeting and be bottom-line oriented. 6.卓越的领导能力,善于管理并激励员工。 Excellent Leadership skills with ability to motivate and coach staff. 7.有能力判别及解决部门内部可能出现的问题。   Ability to trouble-shoot, identify and offer practical solutions challenges face by the department. 8.制定,安排和实施满足各个层次员工需求的培训。  To plan, schedule and implement appropriate training interventions to all levels to meet the needs of the department and staff. 9.良好的团队合作精神。 Team Player.
