1.Checking on daily operations in all rooms division’s area to ensure it is smooth and is manned by sufficient manpower at all times.2.Have departmental meetings at least once a month to ensure department heads or their managers are performing their job smoothly with sufficient working tool and that everyone is treated fairly in all area and speak up whenever there are concerns.3. Ensuring individual department’s Profit and Loss statement is in line and cost and expenditure are controlled wisely.4.Checking on daily log entry in the incident book for all rooms division to ensure all matters are resolved promptly. 5.Reviewing and fine tuning all policies and procedures for the all rooms’ department as and when required.6. Responding to guest comments and complains from Guest Satisfaction Survey or Guest Alert from corporate as and when required.7.Responsible for grooming all department head mainly, and all associates to grow with the company and to manage the department heads’ Leadership Performance Process. 8. Ensure that the key personnel practices “Managing from the Lobby” concept is present in the lobby areas during peak times.9. As Executive Committee, lead by example to comment when credit is due and to take necessary disciplinary action when required. Practising the Marriott’s Guarantee Fair Treatment at all times and train all supervisor and managerial level associates to adhere to the principle.10.Remember the fundamentals of treating people with respect in spite of their religion, race, local culture and etc. As Mr. Marriott quoted, take care of the associate and they will take good care of our customers and it is the duty and responsibility for us to lead by example from top down to ground associates.11.
