development and maintenance of a detailed Department Operations Manual that
reflects Policies & Procedures, work processes and standards of performance
within the Division. Ensures annual review to accurately reflect any changes.

§ Assists with the
preparation of the annual Business Plan, ensuring Divisional Objectives fully

§ Assists with the
preparation and regular update of the Security Departmental Budget in close

§ Maintains the Security
Daily Log Book.

§ Exercises efficient
Payroll Management/ Resources allocation through the establishment of a
flexible workforce throughout the Department. This will be based on the
principles of a flexible employee base (Full Time & Part Time employees),
multi-skilling and multi-tasking.

§ Focuses attention on
improving productivity levels and the need to prudently manage utility/ payroll

§ Reviews and constantly
seeks productivity level improvements of all employees through the process

§ Continuously monitors
installed safety devices for emergency readiness.

§ Patrols public areas,
restaurants, guest floors, offices, plant rooms and all other areas of the
Hotel, ensuring safety, security and comfort of all guests, hotel personnel and
property in and around the Hotel.

§ Conversant with every
detail of the Hotel layout and the location and function of sprinkler system
and smoke detectors, fire fighting equipment and emergency exits, fire control
room and fire indicator panels, emergency evacuation and public address
systems.

§ Designates an
emergency assembly area outside the Hotel and makes aware to all employees of
the area.

§ Ensures the safety of

§ Handles investigation
and reports finding on all incidents involves thefts, accidents, injuries,
property damages, vandalism and trespassing from guests, visitors or hotel

§ Monitors and controls
the movement of all employees leaving and entering the Hotel through the

required.

§ Establishes with the

course on Fire Prevention and Occupational Health and safety.

§ Ensures that all new
employees are trained in Fire Prevention/ Fire Fighting procedures according to
the Hotel Fire Safety Procedure.

§ Records and strictly
controls the issuing of all master keys and other keys within the Hotel
according to the established Key Policies & Procedures and to report any
discrepancy immediately to the General Manager and Director of Finance.

§ Plans and coordinates
on going “Non Patterned” patrols of guest floors, public areas, outlets,
offices and all other areas within and around the Hotel as specified in the
Security Operations Manual.

§ Provides escorts to
cashiers upon shift-ends from Outlet to hotel safe, and General Cashier from
hotel to bank when required.

§ Reviews scheduled
functions, group or VIP arrival events and discusses special instructions with
all relevant departments.

assessments in conjunction with Department Heads to identify potential risk
issues and liability factors, proposing corrective measures where necessary.

concerned adhere to all rules and procedures set by the authority while
carrying out the day-to-day operations.

§ Recruits, selects,
motivates and develops Security employees to work following the operational,
financial, administrative philosophies ensuring employees are multi skilled and
perform multi tasks.

§ Through hands-on
management, supervises closely all Security employees in the performance of
their duties in accordance with Policies & Procedures and applicable laws.

§ Is knowledgeable in
statutory legislation in employee and industrial relations, understanding and
