About the role Assist the Duty engineer and the Chief Engineer in managing the daily operation of the water supply and drainage system, kitchen and laundry equipment within the hotel area. Work in an efficient and cost-effective manner to maintain and repair the kitchen and laundry equipment, following safety operation procedures and inspection systems, and keep records of various equipment maintenance and upkeep. Work out and implement Preventive and Maintenance Program for the water supply and drainage system and the kitchen and laundry equipment. Make sure all programs are operating productively. Be responsible for the procurement plan of spare parts and components for the equipment and systems under jurisdiction. Communicate fully with the chief engineer and Duty engineer to ensure that the spare parts arrive as planned. Participate in the weekly routine inspection organized by the Chief Engineer and rectify any problems found immediately.
