About the role: Purchasing Supervisor ensures purchasing policy compliance, sources Engineering, Rooms, and Beverage supplies, secures competitive pricing through bidding and surveys, evaluates suppliers, monitors deliveries, negotiates contracts, and manages & trains users on the BirchStreet system. What you will do: Ensure all local and corporate policies, rules, internal controls and procedures and safeguards as they relate to the Purchasing Department are complied with. Work with departments who request any supplies for hotel operation, mainly on Engineering  maintenance, Rooms supplies, etc. Complete monthly, quarterly, annually close bidding of hotel supplies for pricing update.Obtain competitive prices from different suppliers for comparison to meet the purchase needs from user departments. One to two years previous experience in a supervisory position in Purchasing. Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language. Mandarin Speaking and Work authorization in China is a must.
