SPECIFIC DUTIES 工作任務:1. Ensure the effective running of the department保证部门有效地运转a. Laundry and Valet Budget (Expenditure)洗衣房的费用预算i. Submit a yearly budget for Management’s approval for all department expense forecast for the coming year, including the cost of repair, maintenance and overhauling of the operating equipment or any adjustment or machinery, manpower to meet yearly Hotel requirements.制定第二年度费用预算,包括设备的维修、保养和更新及人力成本,并上报酒店管理层批准。 b. Laundry and Valet Budget (Revenue)洗衣房收入预算i. Prepare monthly and yearly forecast of guest laundry revenue, if needed.制定月度和年度客衣收入的预报。ii. Prepare monthly and yearly forecast of house laundry and other income revenue, if needed.制定月度和年度其他洗衣收入的预报。iii. Analyze reasons for difference in revenue achieved against forecast.对预算和预报间的差别进行分析。iv. Suggest means of increasing volume of guest laundry.对增加客衣收入提供合理的建议。v. Prepare guest laundry price increment, market search for price comparison with various top class hotels.对周边高档酒店客衣价格进行市场调查,以备客人单价的调整。 2. Ensure the efficient operation of machinery保证机械设备的有效运转a. Equipment repair and maintenance设备的维修保养i. Spot check maintenance work of all operating equipment to ensure that they are in normal condition.对机器设备的保养进行验收,以确保其能正常工作。ii. Keep complete record of laundry equipment – its brand, date of acquisition, model and serial number.对洗衣房的设备的品牌、接受日期、型号及出厂编号均要登记在册。iii. Coordinate with the Engineering Department on major repair and maintenance of operating equipment.对主要设备的保养维修能够同工程部进行协调和沟通。iv. Ensure that all equipment are maintained and serviced regularly.确保所有设备均得到及时有效的保养。v. Recommend purchase and installation of new equipment, if necessary.如有必要,对新设备的采购和安装能提供合理的建议。 3. Ensure compliance with required Laundry standard保证执行统一的洗衣房标准a. Monitor and define strict guidelines to Laundry Supervisor.对洗衣房主管制定工作标准并对其工作进行监督。i. Guest laundry pick-up and delivery.客衣的收取和送回。ii. House laundry daily production and dispatch.酒店布草的洗涤及派送。iii. Monthly inventory taking of supplies and house linen.对酒店的布草和备品进行月底盘点。iv. Immediately report to the Director of Services and Security如发生下列事件,及时报告客房总监和保安1). Guest Lost and Found items客人遗失物2). Staff inquiry员工盘查3). Machines breakdown, etc.机器损坏等v. Check condition of all operating equipment everyday.每日须对所有工作设备进行检查。vi. Handling guest complaints and inquiries.解决客人的投诉。vii. Control of laundry supplies.控制洗衣房的备品。viii. Conduct staff evaluation to review their general performance and discuss existing problems and areas of improvement with the Director of Service.协助客房总监对洗衣房员工的工作表现作评估,同时对工区内存在的问题作讨论协商,以求进一步得到提高。ix. Approve training programs prepared by Supervisors.对主管所做的培训计划进行审批。 b. Liaison with Government Regulations政府相关规定的衔接i. Ensure that all government regulations pertaining to the operation of a hotel laundry are adhered to.确保酒店洗衣房内的操作符合政府有关部门的规定。 c. Supervision of the Laundry and Dry Cleaning Operations.对水洗和干洗工作进行监督和巡视。i. Frequently check daily staff while working to ensure that prescribed washing formulas are being used in order to ensure highest possible quality of laundering and dry cleaning.为确保员工使用正确的洗涤程序,以达到高质量的水洗或干洗效果,需坚持每日经常性对员工的工作进行检查。ii. Supervise the functions of all laundry and dry cleaning employees.对在水洗、干洗区域工作的员工进行指导。iii. Issue constructive criticisms and instructions for correction of any practices or work habits which deviate from accepted standard practices and procedures.对员工在操作过程中的错误进行纠正。iv. Frequently check daily the quality of guest laundry and dry cleaning and ensure they are maintained to the highest standard.确保洗涤效果,须对洗涤后的衣服进行经常性的检查。v. Frequently check daily the quality of house laundry and dry cleaning, ensuring linen and uniforms are maintained in the required approved standard.为达到酒店的标准,也须对洗涤后的制服和布草进行检查。vi. Conduct daily inspection of the laundry plant to ensure its maintenance in a clean, safe and sanitary manner.为保证洗衣房的设备能在干净、卫生和安全的前提下工作,须制定设备日常检查的计划。vii. Set a HIGH STANDARD of work performance and attendance for all staff by constant supervision, ensue maintenance of this standard.对员工的工作表现设定一个高标准,同时督促他们在工作中达到这样的标准。viii. Ensure laundry staff are flexible and well trained to handle and operate other equipment other than those assigned to them.确保洗衣房员工能够熟练地操作不同区域的设备,以备不时之需。4. Contribute to overall efficiency of the department为提升部门的工作效率做贡献a. Liaison with Internal Department同酒店内部其他部门进行协作i. Provide technical advice on quality of fabrics purchased for house linen and staff uniform.对酒店布草和制服的采购能在面料方面提供较专业的建议。ii. Attend department meeting, staff meeting and any review, whenever required.须参加部门、员工会议以及各种被要求出席的会议。iii. Transmit Management’s message on Hotel Policy / Discipline.依据酒店的规章制度,给员工传达酒店管理层的信息。iv. Ensure that all decisions, programs and schedules of Director of Services are carried out.为客房总监转达决定、计划。v. Plan work and production schedule to meet Housekeeping and Food and Beverage linen requirements依据客房部和餐饮部的要求制定工作计划。vi. Liaise closely with Director of Human Resources and the Director of Services to maintain proper balance between production requirements and payroll costs.平衡洗衣房产品要求及工资费用的关系,并为人事总监和客房总监服务。 b. Investigate all complaints against the Laundry Department working closely with other Hotel executives responsible for guest claim liability.如有客人投诉,应对事件进行调查并协调好洗衣房同酒店其他部门关系,共同解决问题。 c. Confer with Supervisors on production, personnel, training and other problems that may arise.在产品、人员安排、培训及其它相关问题上,充分同主管们协调,以期 产生最佳效果。 d. Ensure that stained, damaged linen found during the day are attended to immediately.在日常工作中,若发现布草中有污渍或破损,应及时挑出并另作处理。 e. Ensure that laundry plant room is cleared of dirty linen before the laundry closes for the day.确保洗衣房每日收工之前,所有脏布草已经被洗涤完毕。 f. Follow strictly all Hotel, Laundry and Housekeeping Department policies and procedures to be able to perform duties and responsibilities efficiently and effectively.严格执行酒店、客房部和洗衣房的相关规章制度,以期有良好的工作表现和工作责任感。 g. Be aware of Hotel emergency, safety and pest control procedures.执行酒店相关的紧急、安全和杀虫程序。 h. Maintain personal grooming as per Hotel’s standard, to project an efficient, professional, neat and tidy appearance to hotel guests and set an example to subordinates.按酒店要求,注意自身的仪容仪表,以期以一个干练、专业、整洁的职业行家展现给客人,并成为这方面的表率。 i. Emphasize good personal behaviour, as per guidelines laid down in the Employee Handbook and promote the spirit of teamwork, whenever and wherever possible.无论何时何地,以员工手册的具体规定规范个人的行为表现,以体现出团队合作精神。
