·Prepare weekly staffing schedules, monitor staff attendance and plan labor to meet with activity in the Hotel so as to maintain cost effectiveness.
·Maintain an accurate and proper inventory of all stocks, linen etc. to prevent pilferage or losses of any nature.
·Ensure cleanliness, proper usage of all equipment and their periodical servicing to ensure efficient working conditions.
·Conduct operation meetings and inspection to review, monitor and upgrade performance of the section through dissemination of information, explaining new directions, policies and procedure.
·Assist in the preparation of Capital/Operation budget and to ensure that expenditure is kept within the budget.
·Handle or resolve all guest complaints and through close supervision recommend improvement in operation especially in the following aspects of developing better service standard, increasing revenue and reduction of cost.
·Plan and organize periodically department training for staff in the areas of courtesy, efficiency, grooming Diplomacy and job knowledge (especially for new staff).
·Identify and develop leadership qualities among staff in order to guide them toward the path of career enrichment.
·Responsible and ready to perform assigned task or any other duties as delegated by Housekeeping Manager.
·Act as a link between Management and line staff in order to ensure effective communication.
·Coaches, counsels, disciplines and develops Resort Hosts and Telephone Operators.
·Assists in the selection, training and evaluation of Resort Hosts and Telephone Operators.
